As you begin your healing journey through the chakras I highly suggest you start with the Root Chakra and work your way up through to the Crown.

Spend as much time as you need exploring and balancing each chakra before moving to the next. This might be minutes or it might be days. You might want to do a balancing meditation weekly or monthly. There are no right or wrong ways to work the chakras here. Follow your intuition and connect with them as often as you feel necessary.

Remember that healing is a journey. It takes dedication and patience to work through healing your chakras and if you've decided to incorporate shadow work with your chakra work it can really take you on a wild but necessary ride.

Give yourself grace, self compassion and be willing to learn and grow through this journey.

The first Chakra we are going to cover will be the Root Chakra. Below you will find many different correspondences followed by symptoms of an out of balance Root Chakra and ways to balance. Use some of the activities from Part 1 of this series Healing with the Chakras to guide you along your healing journey. There are no right or wrong ways to explore these incredible energy centers so be curious and have fun with it.

If you feel you need extra guidance please reach out to me or explore other blogs and teachings on the Chakras. There are countless books and teachers out there explaining how to do the work, so a quick internet search is bound to give you a lot of different styles and choices to explore.
